Levis was one of the first Canadian "Flowers" to be built, and the first Canadian Corvette to be sunk.
Built by George T. Davie and Sons, Lauzon, P.Q. Commissioned 16 May, 1941.
On the night of 19 September, 1941 she was torpedoed while escorting convoy SC-44.
with the loss of 18 members of her crew, including OS W.E.R. Mansfield,
to whom this site is dedicated.
